Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i've had some ultra excellent experiences with couchsurfing while living and traveling abroad (most recently in and around europe), and while i don't currently have an open couch here in brooklyn, would love to meet up with people in new york for a drink, a coffee, a walk, a hang out, some yoga, a museum, whatever!

Interests

and then: plants, abandoned buildings, a nice font, opera, maps, old navigational instruments, glass jars and bottles, getting my hands dirty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i've gone skydiving, twice, but the amazing thing is that i don't think it's thrilling enough. skydiving is for babies! what's next?

(also, since i'm american, apparently everything is amazing. "sooo amaaaaazing!")

um. i don't know. lots of things. i had a time. i had the time of my life. this is it.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach a bit of english (language, grammar, creative writing), and a bit of pastry-making (cakes, pies, tarts, desserts blah blah) and a bit of yoga. and some other stuff. like conversational chinese with a bad american accent?

i can share lots about life in southern california (los angeles and orange county).

i want to learn how to drive stick-shift! and glassblowing. and country-western line dancing. and how to do that crazy loud whistle where you use your fingers. and spanish. and italian. and basic sewing. and photoshop and illustrator.

and everything, everything else.
