Music, Movies, and Books

I have a long daily commute so I listen to a lot of books on CD. I went through a Hemmingway period but now I enjoy history and current event themes. As for music,I listen to Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, the Stones, the Doors, the Beatles, Santana. I enjoy Salsa, Bosa Nova (Getz, Gilberto etc). I also enjoy music and the sounds of Jorge Cafrune, Mari Trini and Joan Manual Serrot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the sun rise on the Argentine pampas and sunset on the Panama Canal. Ive twice ran with the bulls in Pamplona and transited the Panama canal. I've been scuba diviing in Panama and Thailand. I was in Chile 6 months after the 1973 coup and in 1989 I visited the Korean DMZ. I've bungee jumped, climed Mt. St. Helens, ran the Portland Marathon and twice ran the Hood to Coast. I've also been to the 24 hours de Lemans, the Spanish Grand Prix and the Argentine Grand Prix. ...There is still more to see and do!
