Is always difficult to describe yourself, but... let's go to say at least two or three things! People tell me that I am honest and a good person. I appreciate very much the true friendship, and the hypocrisy and snobbery give me allergy.

I like the long interesting conversations but also joking and playing as a child. I am cheerful and talkative, but I prefer people who don't make me give a monologue, but who spontaneously speak about themselves and their lives without expecting me to make them questions (I'm a bit reserved for questions, because I'm always afraid to seem nosy). Yeah... although actually nobody believe it, I'm shy (talking very much is just the way to hide it!).

I like to learn new things about other countries and cultures, and I enjoy more a concert than a nightclub. I can like very different people; what really matters to me is if you are a good person.

After studying and working, at the moment I've come back to university to study Education and become a primary school teacher. My current mission is to improve my English, to be able to find a job in a school.

Es siempre difícil describirse a uno mismo, y siempre es auto-encasillarse, pero... ok, ¡vamos a decir al menos dos o tres cosas! La gente dice de mí que soy honesta y buena persona. La hipocresía y el esnobismo me dan alergia, y valoro mucho la verdadera amistad.

Me gustan las largas conversaciones interesantes pero también bromear y jugar como una cría. Soy alegre y habladora,pero prefiero a la gente que no me hace mantener un monólogo, sino que habla espontáneamente de sí misma y de su vida sin esperar que le haga preguntas (soy bastante reservada para las preguntas, porque siempre temo parecer entrometida). Sí ... aunque en realidad nadie lo cree, soy tímida (¡hablar mucho es solo una forma de ocultarlo!).

Me gusta aprender cosas nuevas y curiosas sobre otros lugares y culturas, y disfruto más en un concierto que en una discoteca. Me puede caer bien gente muy diferente; lo que de verdad me importa es que seas buena persona.

Tras estudiar y trabajar, ahora he vuelto a la universidad para estudiar Magisterio. Quiero ser maestra de primaria, porque la educación me parece algo interesantísimo. Mi actual misión es mejorar mi inglés, para conseguir un trabajo en una escuela.

Compartí este perfil con mi ex novio durante un tiempo (por eso algunas referencias hablan de nosotros dos), pero él ya no lo usa nunca, así que decidí volver a convertirlo en un perfil individual.

WHAT COUCHSURFING IS FOR ME:

A way of meeting people and learning about other cultures, languages... not just a way of travel having free accomodation (although I prefer to host people who really need it). I believe in relationships between people who are not influenced by money, but by friendship and sharing. And I'm the happiest person in the world when some of my hosts/guests become a friend and we can keep in touch later.

I also love the Couchsurfing meetings, where you meet a lot of friendly and open-minded people.

WHAT COUCHSURFING IS NOT:

(I can't believe it's necessary to clarify this!)

1- A dating website. Come on, guys, you already have Tinder and a loooooot of apps for that! THIS IS NOT "FUCKSURFING"! I say this specially to MALES WHO ONLY HOST GIRLS: THIS IS PATHETIC! When a girl comes to your home and doesn't know which is your real aim, she is in a vulnerable situation because, maybe when you start to flirt with her, she'd like to leave and she has nowhere else to go. I don't think it's honest taking advantage of this. This is very embarrassing for most of girls! Several times, I've had to pretend I'm not realizing that my host was making advances toward me; I even had to jump through the window of one of them (and I'm not easily frightened: I'm a hitchhiker). So please, stop with that.

2- A free hostel. Obviously, it's for free, and obviously the hosts want to help people who couldn't afford an hostel. But PLEASE, DON'T THINK ABOUT US JUST AS A FREE WAY OF TRAVEL. In the lasts years, there are more and more people who sent short generic and impersonal couch requests without reading the host's profiles (I think 90% of the couch request I get are like that!). It's very sad for us to be swamped by this sort of messages (then people complain that in Madrid it's difficult to get a couch! If you'll keep doing that, hosts will fed up and stop hosting). READING THE HOSTS PROFILES BEFORE SENDING YOUR REQUEST SHOWS RESPECT to people who are opening the doors of their home for you. So please, guys, stop treating your hosts as a merchandise, it's soooo selfish...!

So... please, if you send me a couch request, I only ask you one thing: LET ME KNOW that you are one of those people who READ the profiles before requesting a couch! How? Easy: just say some personalized thing showing that you did it! (for example, tell me why would you like me to be your host, or something we have in common, or your opinion about something I say on my profile... there are many possibilities!); otherwise, I will reject your couch request telling an enigmatic "oranges from China". No matter if you don't read all my profile (I know I wrote a lot!), but at least a glance at some parts of it is important, and so I also warn of this in the part "My home", that everyone should read before sending a couch request. 3- A business for pubs. If you look at the Couchsurfing Events in Madrid, you will see a lot of events in bars. Most of them are created by people who earn money with your drinks. And, little by little, they are replacing the events created by real couchsurfers, more varied and not based on doing allways the same thing. Please, don't collaborate with these opportunists and go to the non-commercial events to keep the diversity of things to do.

Let's keep the real Couchsurfing meaning: sharing, helping and making friends. It's something too good to let it die! Let's protect it! ;-)

LO QUE ES COUCHSURFING PARA MÍ:

Una forma de conocer gente y aprender sobre otras culturas, idiomas... ¡no sólo una forma de viajar gratis! (aunque prefiero alojar a gente que realmente lo necesite). Creo en las relaciones entre las personas que no están influenciadas por el dinero, sino por la amistad y el intercambio. Y soy la persona más feliz del mundo cuando algunos de mis anfitriones / invitados se convierten en amigos y seguimos en contacto.

También me encantan los eventos de Couchsurfing, donde conoces a un montón de gente simpática y de mente abierta.

LO QUE NO ES COUCHSURFING:

(¡No puedo creer que sea necesario aclarar esto!)

1- Una web de citas. ¡Chicos, por favor, ya tenéis Tinder y un montón de apps para eso! ESTO NO ES "FUCKSURFING"! Digo esto sobre todo por los HOMBRES QUE SÓLO ALOJAN CHICAS: ¡ES PATÉTICO! Cuando una chica llega a tu casa sin saber cuáles son tus verdaderas intenciones, se ve en una situación vulnerable cuando empiezas a intentar ligar con ella, porque probablemente tenga ganas de largarse pero no tenga otro sitio adonde ir. No creo que sea honesto aprovecharse de esto. ¡Es una situación muy incómoda para la mayoría de las chicas!

2- Un hostel gratuito. Sí, es gratis, y sí, tu anfitrión quiere ayudar a gente que no puede pagar por un alojamiento. Pero POR FAVOR, NO PIENSES EN NOSOTROS SÓLO COMO UNA FORMA DE VIAJAR GRATIS. En los últimos años, cada vez hay más gente que envía solicitudes de sofá genéricas e impersonales sin leer los perfiles de los hosts. Es muy triste para nosotros ser inundados por este tipo de mensajes (¡luego la gente se queja de que en Madrid es difícil conseguir un couch! Si seguís haciendo eso, los anfitriones nos vamos hartando y vamos dejando de alojar gente). LEER LOS PERFILES DE LOS HOSTS ANTES DE ENVIAR TU SOLICITUD SIGNIFICA QUE RESPETAS a las personas que te están abriendo las puertas de su casa. Así que por favor, chicos, dejad de tratar a vuestros anfitriones como una mercancía, ¡es una actitud muy jeta!

Así que ... por favor, si me envías una solicitud de sofá, sólo te pido una cosa: DEMUESTRA que eres una de esas personas que leen los perfiles antes de pedir un couch ¿Cómo? Muy fácil: ¡di algo un poco personalizado que muestre que lo has hecho! (por ejemplo, dime por qué quieres que sea tu host, o algo que tenemos en común, o tu opinión sobre algo que digo en mi perfil ... ¡hay muchas posibilidades!); de lo contrario, voy a rechazar tu solicitud sofá diciendo un enigmático "oranges from China". No importa si no lees todo mi perfil (¡sé que he escrito mucho!), pero al menos echa una ojeada a algunas partes que son importantes, como la sección "Mi casa", que todo el mundo debería leer antes de enviar una solicitud de sofá. 3- Un negocio para bares. Si miras los eventos de Couchsurfing en Madrid, verás que muchos son en bares. La mayoría de ellos son creados por gente que gana dinero con tus bebidas, en plan picaresca. Y, poco a poco, están reemplazando los eventos creados por verdaderos couchsurfers, que eran más variados y no estaban basados ​​en hacer siempre lo mismo. Por favor, no colabores con estos oportunistas y ve a los eventos no comerciales para que siga habiendo variedad donde elegir.
