ABOUT ME

I lived my first 24 years in Oulu, Finland.
After that I started to explore the world..
other cities inside FIN and little bit Holland, Germany, later Denmark, Australia. Aaaand now I am back in my roots, my hometown Oulu. Have to keep on moving (like always) so I am having a small trip right now to Phuket via Singapore and after those couple of months to Australia..

I love traveling!!! , meeting new people, sharing stories and tips, helping and caring people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CS from my friends, first time it was when I was still living in Copenhagen. One of my close friend was offering a couch to some surfers. I found it a great idea already that time. When I moved to Melbourne, I finally joined the group after one CouchSurfing get together event = CS Zone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Australia I met many new friends via CS. I traveled a lot inside/around Australia. I met a lot of great people, and get to know CS a little bit better in that time. While I was living in Santa´s town in Rovaniemi I hosted some people in my couch.. too bad I don´t have that possibility at the moment.

Interests

I am interested of positive people! Well I am also interested of all kind of sports (including surfing!!!) and activities. AND of course I love to have long dinners with plenty of wine (or cider) and long discussion with great people around me!

I enjoy exploring new things, but when I have found some perfect thing to do, I could easily stick into it. I am a horse person..yep, truly and always! I love all kind of animals, actually. Maybe I have extra feelings for hairy animals, since I am allergic to them (as sad as it is). Cute little things, and so much happiness they can bring to you. This is also why I enjoy visiting zoos, I guess.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies, mostly action and thrillers.. but when ever I wanna relax the most I love stupid comedy movies! :)

Music, this is soooooo huge range of all kind of. I can not even list. Lounge or reggae if I feel like it, heavy metal when I feel like it, trance when I feel like it. You know, go with the flow..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing thing was visit Kakadu National Park in Australia. We spend like 3 nights (or was it 2) outside in "camping areas" and hiked a crazy lot in a crazy heat (37 degrees). How much I loved water! :) The best ofcourse was all the views and places with the stories (aboriginal).

Another (again Australia), while having a snorkling trip in Whitsundays, a dolphin came to entertain us in dinner time next to the boat! CUTE! xx

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I am a coach & swimming teacher, so if you need some tips how to swim butterfly or just how to float, let's hop into the pool together. Anything what comes with overall sports (&life) coaching I can talk about it hours after hours..
I am also quite good with mobile phones and computers, so if you have some problem, I can always have a look at it (no guarantees for solving it) :) .
