ABOUT ME

Like most people in this community i like to travel. I also like to meet lots of interesting people, exchanging experiences and culture and so on.

I am studying economics and Japanese at uni in Gothenburg. Right now I am in Osaka, Japan on exchange and I am really liking it. This spring I took a three month course in Japanese in Sapporo. After that i traveled in South Korea and Japan for a month. I am still not quite able to hold a proper casual conversation in Japanese, yet I am naively taking economics classes hoping that the exams will be easy. I am not so sure they will so I mostly see my time here as a chance to learn the language properly, meet new friends and have fun.

Before enrolling in the economics program that I am in now I have worked at the post office, studied some random courses and traveled in Europe etc.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have hosted once in Sweden and surfed twice in Japan. It has been a very fun experience.

I just moved to my own apartment in Osaka since the rules at the dorm I was staying at were waaay too many. Especially the one about being home by 11.30 every night. I only have the floor and a blanket to offer and that is cold, so if you are in Osaka, maybe it is better you find another place to sleep and we could meet up for sightseeing or a coffee.

Interests

I love having Swedish "fika" with friends and take dance classes every now and then. At home I like reading(unless I have too much to read in school), watching TV-series like Dexter and Once upon a Time and sketching/drawing.
