HI there everyone!

My names Taylor,

I'm an actor and adventure (read: canoeing/rafting/kayaking) guide. I love travelling and couch surfing is so awesome for this! My interests include chilling out with friends with a good beer and guitar or playing piano.

I have a passion for the outdoors, but also for the indoors, and really for doors in general. They take you places-And right now that is what my life is all about: going new places and sharing new adventures while I still can!

Oh, I am also fond of a good party and dancing. Nothing better than some good music and a bunch of friends getting rowdy together, laughing and having a blast. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Cliche, but I live for the moment. and for the best nights with someone you love or that group of friends who you have grown up with, or that group of friends who you just met but FEEL like you've grown up with. those days and nights and moments spent together where you're just like, wow. I cant believe this is happening... that's what life is alllll about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosted and have hosted people since couch surfing started. I am one of the originals from way back when this was just a tiny community and have watched it grow into something awesome.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed all over New Zealand, and had an amazing time doing so. Well worth it!!! Couchsurfed my way around central Europe too :). Have hosted a few people in my previous home town of Kamloops.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam to an iceberg in the Arctic Ocean of the northernmost tip of mainland Canada. And then stood on the top of the iceberg while it floated away from shore. Water temperature: 1 degree Celcius. BRRRRRR.

Climbed corno grande in November 2013 , the tallest mountain in the appenies range in Italy!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking, smiles and good times! I am always up for a hike or adventure- I love getting outdoors and seeing the sights that a place has to offer. I also tell some really corny jokes if that's your thing... Lol
