About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding my way on the rocky path of first ADs in film industry as a freelancer

ABOUT ME

Please, use always COUCHREQUEST for requesting a couch instead of sending messages. This is the way for it.

My (half Hungarian - half Polish) family has been always educating me to be a tolerant "citizen" :) of our multicultural world.

I had a first and great CS-experience in Utrecht in 2010-11.
Now I stay in Budapest, finished my MA studies and working in film projects. Actually I'm taking care of my nieces and in the middle of a flat renovation.

Some practical knowledge about me:
I don't smoke (but I tolerate smokers).
I'm not allergic (just a tiny bit of pits).
I'm not vega(n) and there are really-really few things I don"t like to eat :D.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly by hosting people in Budapest and showing around the city and the country in my free time.

I'm totally crazy about board-games and card-cames, so feel free to challenge me! ;)

What else...?
Anything you wish and I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One splendid, surfing year in Utrecht.
The top was definitely the island of Texel and the "light of the sea". (http://goo.gl/QTULdZ)

As a return, since then I've been hosting here in Budapest.
That's how I met Chris the all-around-the-world biker, Alex the real Baywatch guy form California and many other people I consider them now as friends even though we haven't seen each other since then.

But isn't this one of the most wonderful side of CS? You spend 2 days with a stranger and you can be 100% sure you'll have a place to stay and a friend to talk with when you visit him or her regardless the time passed since.

MUSIC
In the last times I prefer electronic music (break beat, minimal techno, techno, ambient, dub step), but there's always a need for some change, right?! (folk, film scores, 60's-70's-80's and so on...)
and again: a too long list of music styles.

My actually favourite Hungarian band is obviously Csaknekedkislány (=Onylforyougirl :) -> https://www.youtube.com/user/csnkzenekar).

And some others...: Fisherspooner, Die Antwoord, Metronomy, Cafe del Mar, Caribou, Trentmoller, Paul Kalkbrenner, Bauchklang, Nouvelle Vague, Zero 7, The Chemical Brothers, Muse, Kees van Hondt & friends :D, etc...

BOOKS
Brassai: Conversations with Picasso,
Robert Capa: Slightly Out of Focus,
Géza Ottlik: School at the frontier (Iskola a határon),
Kundera: The Unbearable Lightness of Being
and so on...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw "the light of the sea" on the island of Texel in The Netherlands.

!!! roller coasting all the day in Eurodisneyland :D !!!

Bungee jumped from the bridge right at the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia next to the Victoria Falls.

I attended in few films as a producer/assistent. I think it's the best team work ever "invented". Serious, responsible job with a lot of fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach...
languages: Hungarian, Italian, English and Polish
playing a guitar
dancing
taking good photos
and showing how to have a cool time by doing nothing.

Well, I have a bucket list: I'd really like to try driving every existing vehicle on Earth (and beyond). So if you have something special feel fear... ups... feel free to show it to me!

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Italy, Poland, South Africa

Countries I’ve Lived In
