About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Saunter across every continent

ABOUT ME

My parents raised my siblings and I to love traveling, and so we do. I am studying world religions and political science, I love reading, fresh fruit, my family, and bright colors, and my favorite wine is Malbec. I've traveled across North America, parts of South America, all over Western, Central, and Eastern Europe, briefly visited North Africa, lived in the UK and Turkey, and traveled in in the Middle East. I'm now living in Thailand and going to be teaching English soon. I dream of visiting Tibet.

PHILOSOPHY

The greatest attributes are humility and sincerity. I have only a brief time to spend on this beautiful Earth and before I have a family and get settled I want to see as many places as I can. I truly believe that traveling is possibly the single-most valuable thing one can spend one's time doing. I consider myself a very liberal, accepting person, and I try to be a positive force in the lives of those I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got involved with CS while living in the UK, had a great first surfing experience, hosted a couple people in Boston, and am now traveling again in East Asia!

Interests

I thoroughly enjoy swimming, particularly in lakes. I like to ski (on snow and in water) and above all else I love getting to know new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have visited Iguazu falls (on the Argentina side) twice and it is without a doubt the most beautiful place I have ever been. The waterfalls go on for miles and it is positively stunning.
I strongly recommend that you see the falls sometime during your life, and Argentina is a wonderful country to visit. You can see the falls from Brazil but the view from Argentina is much better (no offense to Brazil)

Teach, Learn, Share

Joseph Campbell: "Eternity isn't sometime in the future. Eternity isn't even a long time. Eternity has nothing to do with time. It is that dimension of here and now when all thinking in temporal terms cuts off, and if you don't find it here, you won't find it anywhere."
