ABOUT ME

I'm a uni student who works pretty hard during the week to get everything done so the weekend can be spent outdoors either bushwalking, climbing, kayaking, cross country skiing, mountaneering (only in holidays as Australia aint got no real mountains) etc! Am loving the lifestyle and location for it.

I study physics and am dedicating myself to researching nanostructured photovoltaics to make solar energy more affordable.

Climate change is real and am doing my best to convince y'all its so by volunteering with Beyond Zero Emmisions http://www.beyondzeroemissions.org/

The earth is amazing! We need to respect her! My time on earth is limited but Im trying to make the most of it and see and experience as much as possible, as pure as possible! Raw experience is true experience. I love moments of heightened awareness!

I love eating with people, sharing (making and eating) dinner and time and stories.

I like photography for its own sake and to help remember!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Been hosting since mid 2010.

Surfed at the start and end of my cycle trip in Wien and Istanbul (its every bit as great as hosting).

Been meeting csers every chance I get in Australia including outback Wilcannia and Tamworth.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love music with rhythm and melody. I play classical guitar and spanish music often has both of these things in the one instrument.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed some big hills, some steep cliffs, abseiled some bigger cliffs, walked far ways and enjoyed many great nights around the fire with great people!
slept under the stars, watched the stars with humble amazement.

In July-August 2011 I rode my bike solo from Wien to Istanbul via Austria, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzigovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey. It was epic!

I like cooking, love baking my granma's amazing traditional german 'Torten' and sharing the products with friends - like you ;)

I've been to some very nice out of the way places that I can teach you about and how to do various outdoor things such as climb/rescue a pinned kayak in a rapid...
