ABOUT ME

Hello! Monchichichi, that´s a couple of two young ladies from Prague, Monika and Andrea.
Andrea: Hm, it´s not an easy thing to describe myself as I´m not such a simple person:-) I´m rather an introvert, I don´t need to talk all the time. But it´s always a pleasure meeting intelligent and open minded people, who move me to debate and give me new ideas and inspiration, another point of view.
I try to find my place in the world. I´m a student and still uncertain about what to do then. I´m thinking about working abroad for some time as a volunteer, hope it´ll help me to make my mind:)
Monika: Describing myself, that is a hard task :). But I consider myself as an easy going and open minded person, I like meeting new people and I have passion for travelling :).

PHILOSOPHY

Andrea: As I wrote above, I try not to be indifferent. I´m looking around myself to see what´s going on. Do something against the bad, support the good. I believe that everyone can help make the world a better place to live.

Monika: I don´t really have a personal philosophy, I try to enjoy my life as much as I can and that´s it:)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Andrea: As I´ve been living with my parents by now, I can´t unfortunately provide a couch. So now I´m just attending CS parties from time to time:) With Monika we visited Berlin twice and we found very hospitable Couchsurfers there. It was an overall great experience. I hope to get involved more in the future, when I´ll be able to host:-).
Monika: As Andrea wrote we have been to Berlin twice and both times we had a lot of fun and it was a great experience and we would like to have some more :). Currently I live with a roomate in an apartment, so I cannot offer you couch, but maybe in the future when I will be living on my own it´ll get better :).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We´ve been to Berlin and it was great, we had good luck with our hosts and everyone we met there. Now we´d love to explore another amazing places!

Intereses

Andrea: I´m interested in almost everything as I am very inquisitive person:-) I study literature so I love books and culture in general. I care also about politics, since I´ve been noticing some bad things happening in Czech Republic - I belive that the worst thing to do is being indifferent!
And not to sound as such a smartass, I also love my friends, partying and drinking beer:) Yeah and also fashion!

Monika: traveling, reading, almost all kind of sports, meeting my friends and also meeting new people, that´s why I´m here :).

Música, películas y libros

Andrea: Books - Michal Ajvaz, Milan Kundera, Thomas Bernhard, Jaroslav Rudis, Franz Kafka.
Music- Einstürzende Neubauten, Bob Dylan, Neurobeat, Kraftwerk, Willie Nelson, Midi Lidi, Prago Union. I used to listen more classic rock and punk when I was younger, now I´ve been exploring the electronic music, indie and so.

Monika: My favourite movie is Closer, because it´s about relationships and I think relationships are very important part of human life. About books - I don´t have any specific author I like, I enjoy reading when the book is thrilling I usually read some book my friends recommend to me.
