About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"finding a way to make a living with doing what I love"

ABOUT ME

During the week HR Specialist, in the afternoons - English teacher, at the weekends - clarinet player in a wind band.

I consider myself as a sociable and easygoing person with a sense of humour! I feel comfortable with people quite fast and enjoy their company as much as I can as long as they are close to me. I am ADDICTED TO TRAVELLING! - the more I see, the more I want to see:) and already seen 50% of Europe:) To me this is the best way to get to know life and people. Every time when I come back home I feel more experienced and mature as a human being as every trip gives me another suggestion how the life and relations between people may look like. And as a linguist I may state that's the best way to practise foreign languages!

I like smiling and meeting new people. Sometimes I have a feeling I have even more closer friends abroad than in my home town. I don't believe in coincidences!
I've been to many different places and have a desire for meeting new cultures as it always shows me how varied the world is!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I truly believe (because I have experienced that!) that it is much more than just a place to stay for free. It's a great opportunity to spend time with people who normally I wouldn't have a chance to meet and every meeting is a lesson of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I travel and commute a lot every day so not to lose my precious time, I read a lot - mostly things that help me put all the life puzzles in the correct order - self-development, psychology and languages obviously.

I don't have much time to watch films but once I do it, I choose thought-provoking ones, those that let me think a bit about my personal life, sometimes a bit philosophical like Eat, Pray, Love or Under the Tuscan Sun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

spent night in a cave in malaysian jungle with a porcupine and bats

Teach, Learn, Share

If we both have time (especially during holidays as it's time for travelling;) ) we can stay together for a week or two, aquire a bit of each other's native languages and cultures.
