ABOUT ME

I just got my PhD in economics and I'm now taking it all in while I teach locally on a part-time basis. Also thought I'd try out this couch surfing thing finally, and it's a good time since I have no couch of my own at the moment. What I can offer is a general understanding of economics and the issues involved in various policy debates. Also, I cook, real good.

I slept on a stranger's couch, and I think I made a friend for life. Not bad.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Can't go wrong with Bill Murray. Also like old movies with Audrey Hepburn. I think The Hangover is an instant classic.
Music: Lately, I like Bon Iver, Band of Horses, My Morning Jacket, Fleet Foxes, and bands like them.
Books: I've read way too much economics, but enjoyed a lot of it. Now I just read The Onion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just went to San Sebastian, Spain. Amazing enough. But I also ran into Matt Preston there, a popular food critic in Australia. He showed us some great places, there and in Madrid. Super amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can certainly teach you about economics, if that helps. But I think people want to know about real life experiences. I certainly do.
