ABOUT ME

Being born and brought up in the heartland, mainland capital city of India, I received the best of schooling, the best of childhood and a great set of people to get surrounded with what more a kid can ask for! And being among them- learning, acknowledging, playing, fooling around were my adorable pastimes. As time flew by, my senses matured, my brain's perspective on accepting and viewing things changed. After graduating in Fashion and commerce and witnessing the world's drama on the glamour ramp or a corporate desk, my sudden shift to the quest of me being an Indian- a topic which is considered a minority subject by 'people in power' a.k.a 'money binging freaks', dawned on me and I picked up activities that I found bring solace to not only myself but also to humanity as a race. And it was during this course of time, I took up volunteering activities like aid relief work, working with specially abled children, I started reading, writing, meeting all sorts of people from all sorts of backgrounds. It was then I discovered the need of a ONE WORLD FAMILY. The need of getting people together, as one divine force getting along for a common objective- PEACE !! Since then Peace is what I am, Peace is what I promote, Peace is what I live upon, Peace is my love and passion and Peace is my mission & Peace is what I have to gift to this world ! Thank you! I was a little new to this website but I was never new to the concept, spirit and enthusiasm of CouchSurfing. Though at first I found the website a little complex but gradually as I got acquainted with the technical and non technical aspects I found it to be sincerely drafted and managed by a group of sheer professionals. What I Can Share with Hosts

My home being an ancient construction is located in Old Delhi and is a traditional home which has seen almost four generations.. This being said, I believe India is the land where one has the opportunity to realize some crucial things about oneself and life in general.. and for that realization, one doesn't need to live in luxury.. living with luxuries in India won't really serve any purpose and won't be of any good, to experience India in its most raw and natural form what you need is just the basic amenities and an open heart and a humble mind to discover it's true beauty..and I always strive to make people around me aware of this aspect that India carries with itself.. As far as the technical aspects are concerned, my home is well equipped with all the amenities of modern life and the place where I live is very well connected by all means of transportation.. there is a railway station nearby, the metro is within walking distance..the national bus terminal is very near.. one can easily go to any part of Delhi and even outside of Delhi and come back without any hassle... So, I welcome you to India and to my home and look forward to seeing you here ~Om Shanti~
