Formerly I delivered newspapers, used to work in a liquor store and jobbed as a furniture packer. Once I was away on business as a craftsman in Zurich, once as a real estate agent in Istanbul. I worked as a merchant for building materials, was the co-founder of a software company and worked as a roofer or stove maker. I ran a business for fitting awnings, did carpenter jobs along with trading on future markets. I had professions in manufacturing of loudspeaker housings, managing foreign trade, importing soap and sportswear as well as dealing with jewelry and flowers. I spend time as a navy soldier in Kiel also served the civilian service in a school for handicapped children. Moreover, I walked the Camino the Santiago for 2.600km. As a little boy I traded with fruits and plums, accompanied fishermen at sea and passionately collected knives. I dived for shells, sat around the campfire and swam in mountain lakes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2010 I met this project and from the beginning it was intersting. I didn't know that something like this even exists. I like it. I got a lot of friends over CS. Revolutionary, yes I love it very much!
