About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet some people while in Berlin for the semester
ABOUT ME
My home base is Raleigh, NC .... I returned from 2 years in Armenia as a Peace Corps volunteer last year and started a graduate program at Duke which has allowed me to live in Jerusalem and now Berlin. I'm doing an exchange semester here this fall.
PHILOSOPHY
Christ. To know him more and be more like him~
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to meet some locals in between studying and maybe travel some on weekends/breaks. Unfortunately, I can't host right now b/c I am renting a room in someone else's place.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only had one experience thus far....and it was just what the doctor ordered! As an exchange student, I'm spending so much time with my books and not enough time with people...just doing normal things. I choose to couchsurf in order to have the human interaction experience that keeps us going in life! I will insist on treating you to a meal or contributing somehow if you let me stay with you!

Music, Movies, and Books
currently reading "The Meaning of Marriage" by Tim Keller. It is a good one!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Paraglided in the Swiss Alps ~ learned Armenian (amazing for me!)
Teach, Learn, Share
This aspect of couchsurfing is wonderful and unexpected and I wouldn't presume to know what I might learn...only that I will learn! From my first host I learned that keeping crystals in water (and certain different rocks) gives the water a different charge (and makes it look wonderfully fancy). Also I learned that things from the garden that some people consider weeds are actually edible. I love to share cooking ideas~
