ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm a thirty something recent convert to backpacking (having been a convert to travelling for sometime before that). Currently on a career break to think about where I want to be and what I want to be doing so on a RTW trip. I'm friendly, open-minded and love meeting new people and having new experiences. I am sensitive to cultures and enjoy having a go at speaking the local language and meeting the locals.

PHILOSOPHY

Tough one - I try to live my life based on Karma - if you spread good in this world, good things will happen to you and vice versa!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to meet intereseting people from the countries I am visiting to foster better understanding. On my return to wherever I end up, I hope to be able to offer a couch or a bed to people who are passing through.

Intereses

I have varied interests from sporting (running, pilates, yoga, scuba, surfing, trekking, climbing, swimming, cycling (esp mountain biking)), cultural (reading, cinema, theatre, opera, art) and social (going out for coffee, beers, dancing etc). The usual stuff, I guess. Oh - and I like learning languages too!

Música, películas y libros

Changes regularly. Loved the King's Speech recently - and Eat, Pray, Love (Book, not the movie). Music wise - I listen to all sorts from dance, to cheesy retro to pop to classical.
