ABOUT ME

During my school days I remember watching the BBC documentaries by an English actor turned traveler Michael Palin. Since then I have always been fascinated by land, people,culture and history.

I grew up in India and then moved to US three years back. I currently work in the financial industry in New York slogging away long hours at work, but somehow haven't led my work to deter my true passion in life - Travel and Adventure.

Last summer I scaled the highest mountains of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York. The hike to Mt Marcy in New York was one of the best so far. I love hiking, running, cycling, skiing etc etc.

Traveling is an indispensable part of my life. I have traveled to 21 countries around the world. From my travels I have learnt about history, art, culture, traditions, cuisines, aspirations of the people, the subtle differences that give each community their identity and above all the ideas of freedom, rationality and liberalism.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started my CS journey with my travel to Hong Kong in 2010. I was initially a bit apprehensive about Couch Surfing, but it turned out to be one the best experience I ever had in my life.
