HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

From someday, I found wow I could try to understand other people on this planet from their couchs!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once in Guam. Once in south australia.
Usually I travelled within my home country and I stay in the local person's home but they dont use this website.:P Sometimes they even don't know how to use the computer, they lived in the deep mountainous village.
So...actually I am maybe a new surfer. I hope this would not be the barrier to be accepted.

兴趣

Could be curious about anything I meet in this world. I began to think about time and the universe, where do they come from, since I was 7. :P but still no answer....

ANIMALS: All of the animals, except for the insects. Insects are my natual enemy, I am afraid of them. But for others, no matter small ones liek cats and dogs, or bigger ones like elephants, I feel happiness from the deep of my heart when I see them. I have a strange habbit to visit the zoo of each city I visited if I have time. A habbit from when I was a child. Because I think, both the animals and the human beings, they are all the citizen of our earth. I hope to do anything I could to communicate with them, to protect them if I can, and to live with them peacefully.

Chinese Traditional music: This is an old type of musical instrument, we call it GU QIN, because it is too old an instrument to have an english name. It is a plucked seven-string Chinese musical instrument and can make out very special music. Our chinese ancestors usually traveling around with it, so that they can sit anywhere on the ground, playing music. It's a kind of music to speak to oneself, to look into and to understand oneself. Many culture background and legend about that if you want to know.:)
This is the introduction: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guqin

MYSTERIAL THINGS: I am more interested in culture things when travelling, especially for those ancient, mysterial customs. If there is some old village in the place I am going to, I shall definitely want to visit such a interesting place.

SPECIAL CULCURES:
WALKING: Usually somebody will call it TREKKING. At first I just think it is a budget way, by which I could save money for taking vehicles when travelling... that time I was very young and had very limited money for my travelling. And then I found walking is really a best way to feel. It is not so fast, so I could feel every step, how they touched this earth, how they connected to the huge mountains, how was the feeling anyone who used to walked the same way once might have. The travellers passed, but their breath, their thinkings and their feeling in a manner was recorded in anything around, maybe in a leaf or in a rock.
But strangely, I don't like Climbing to the peak of the mountains. I don't want to conque, that's meaningless to me. If there is a beautiful mountain standing in front of me, all I would eager to do is to see what is on the other side of it. Will there be also sky and sheeps, or some beautiful girls singing and smiling to welcome me...

Travelling:
Travelling is the last thing because travelling is to see the things I mentioned above. Of course there will be even more to see during journey.
I am always a budget traveller because I want to cover the further the betten with the limited resources. I care little about how to eat and how to sleep. I care more about how to communicate with huamn beings, with animals around, with all the plants and mountains and sea I met.

and others... riding horse, delicious cheesecake, anything beautiful :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1. In 2006 I resigned from my former work and go to the mountainous area in Yunnan, to stay there for half a year. The Place is called Lu Gu Lake. I chose the most beautiful half island of the lake to stay. The host was a local family that has lived there...maybe since their existence.
200 year-old wooden house, the 1st flour was for pigs and second flour for people. Once I raised a small dog, but there was a big hole in the flour! Just in the mid-night I heard the screaming from my puppy dog and then I found it dropped down to the piggy's room from that hole. I was so anxious and got downstairs ...and just see the pig was lapping my poor shuddering small doggy. At once I saved it! But that was really a very big pig...with a face as big as 2 19' screen. Just so big......

Another interesting thing was once I found my self was sleeping in fire in the mig-night. Because the houses was made in wood, they are easy to catch fire. That day we again met the power cut, so we had to use candles. I forgot to wink it out. That mid-night when I suddenly wake up...found myself lying on the bed which is surrounded by 1 meters high fires. I was stupefied and for a while I didn't understand what really happend. My roommate also wake up and rushed downstairs to take waters. Luckily we lived just 2 meters away from the lake. With the pigs singing downstairs there, we slaked the fire......If I didn't wake up at that time, now it should be a ghost to write self-introduction here....haha...

In normal days, I would help the host to do some farming works. I tried planting pototas, corns, peas, which are the normal food for the local. Farming was so interesting because they still use the oxes to break ground. Girls and ladies usually have to help to cook the lunch on the farm for men, who from all over the village work together.
Interesting things were so much! I enjoyed much more than just a quick come-and-go traveller. That's the way I love travelling.
If you are interested in that place, may be I could tell many items which could never been found from any traveling advise site.

2. In the summer of 2006, I spent 1 month setting out from the placed I mentioned in (1) and visiting the TIBET. No train, only bus during that time. We had go across the wild land of KEKESILI. It was a hard journey because I had only limited budget. Some remote area doesn't require money, but sincere. In a small village, which a famous budda once stayed and studies there many hundreds years ago, we visited tibeten Buddhist, who usually spent their whole lives staying there, each one in a small rock holl, studying the Upanishad of Buddhism. And, the noodles there were the most delicious and not expense.

3. In 2007 7 days to trek through the 茶马古道, from Yongning to Yading in Sichuan Province. I lost all the photos from a harddisk crash, only everything was in my memory. We stayed in camps for the 7 nights, stepping on the 4000 meters high mountains, every day walking, across rivers, snow mountains, areas of bloodsucking ants, eventually arrived the peaks of the snow mountains in destination.

4. In 2011 aournd Yucatan in mexico. I didn't know spanish and they did not know English. We communicate every things via gesture, for accommondation, price, food, car renting...everything. I love Mexican people they were so lovely.

Not only amazing, these are the happiest things I ever had.

教,学,和分享

Gu Qin. If you would like to have a general understanding of it. The technique of playing it is kind of like plying guitar. But it's much more quiet and peaceful.

I could give you great travelling tips about the south-west region of China including Yunan and Tibet.

Would be happy if you have experience of raiting animal or Vet nursing, or if you could sing your nation's traditional songs and allow me to record them.
