ABOUT ME

Wow!
I am very open to learn of any new culture. I enjoy very simple pleasures in life. I adapt very well to anything or anywhere in-ordinary. If I had to so the same thing and see the same things every day, I'd surely lose my mind. Love traveling! It is the one thing that really makes me happy. People who are are real and kind make me feel so good. People who are not empathetic make me sad. I love animals too. I wanted to take a goat home from Nepal! Music is another love of mine. It's one of the most beautiful creations in all the world. I love all kinds.

PHILOSOPHY

I am always asking many questions about life, and I know many times there are no answers. The thing is without curiosity I'd be bored to tears. I can't understand the person who has no desire to learn about different things such as different ways of life, religion, culture, language, etc... When everyone lives in competition and keepin' up with the Joneses and wanting all the same things-It's hard for me to understand. Be unique and embrace the strange!!!! We are all special. Yes?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate here in my hometown of Houston,Tx with the fantastic Ambassadors..Melanie and Josue. They are so great! There is a large CS community so I try my best to hang out with them when possible. I am happy to meet up with surfers coming from other towns and countries. I can't host because of my living arrangements. I hope this will change soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am happy to say that I have had some really great experiences! The Italians were so nice! I stayed with a total of 5 different hosts. They were all very unique people and very willing to help me out! I also stayed in Sicily..WONDERFUL! I have friends right here in Houston that are GREAT Couch Surfing people!

Interests

Guess I already answered that, but, love traveling, animals, music, other cultures, and people who are real/genuine. I have met lots of false people, and I stay away from them now.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music favorites are all over the place! I love dark music like Nick Cave, and then I love Cat Stevens. I love disco, 80's, classic rock, David Bowie, The Cowboy Junkies,etc.......I love history books the most. I am not into fiction as much although there are some fun exciting adventurious ones out there. I love mystery movies, comedies, thrillers,.....Also like documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been so very lucky to have seen the things I have seen. Just about all of Asia is amazing to me. I am talking about trains, buses, planes, and then everything else like food and of course the scenery. All those little things were amazing there. Nothing frilly-just real and simple. Really thought Israel, London, Paris were all cool. There are too many specifics I couldn't possibly mention in all my travels. Got loads of stories though!!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn from people who are willing to do it. I am a very good listener, and I am very empathetic. If I can bring a smile to a sad face-I am a happy camper. Selfish people really upset me, so sharing is huge! Many times we think life is all about us. ME! ME! It just isn't true. Lend your hand out every now and then. You will feel amazing when you do!
