About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Photo Documentary of Modern Americans - 50 States in 52 Weeks!

ABOUT ME

I'm 27 and looking to do something really meaningful during the little time that I have on this Earth. Currently I work in what amounts to a box with carpet covered walls, analyzing credit card customers' behavior patterns for a major American retailer. What I'd love to do if money were no object is talk to others and see how they have lived their lives all the while taking their photographs and making new friends and connections throughout the world. Thus, my photo documentary/blog project was born out of this idea. And here is where couch surfing comes in...

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take life too seriously...everyone's story ends the same way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to utilize this site for my travels but also to find people willing to tell their stories. I'm hoping that this will be an amazing experience where I can promote couch surfing throughout my blog and travels and maybe even learn a thing or two about life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed so this is an entirely new experience for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been lost on a train in Scotland and ended up hours away from St. Andrews (my destination) and instead in the Highlands of Scotland. It was beautiful with snow at that time of year. Once I realized I got off at the next stop that had a train going the way I needed it to. While waiting for that train, I ate in a Mexican restaurant with an Australian outback theme. Very random.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can sew really well, teach Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, cook amazing things (including and especially, baking chocolate cakes), I'm good with a DSLR and various lenses. I'm also great with Microsoft Office programs but would prefer to teach the other stuff listed above because I find these programs so dry.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Mexico, United Kingdom, Virgin Islands, U.S.

Countries I’ve Lived In
