About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Positively Crossing America With Brain Tumors For Miles For Hope

ABOUT ME

I serve people as a consumer advocate by helping them resolve their issues with companies or government agencies. I've assisted consumers in successfully resolving their issues with such companies as Dell Computers, DIRECTV, Comcast, Sears, Verizon, the USPS and others. I have also assisted consumers with issues with government agencies such as The United States Army, the SSA, various PA state government agencies, as well as numerous law enforcement agencies and other government agencies across our country. I answer questions consumers have regarding their concerns and issues. I educate consumers concerning current scams taking place to protect them from being taken advantage of financially or having their identity stolen.
I'm the founder of The Be Positive Day and Be Positive Campaign, to be referred to in the future as The Always Positive Day" in 2010. The Be Positive Day was celebrated on Wednesday July 15th in 2009. The "Always Positive Day" was celebrated on Sunday October 24 in 2010. "Always Positive Day" is now an initiative of Always Positive.org. The organization promotes a "positive attitude lifestyle movement!"
Beginning September 24, 2010 I started my "Positively Crossing America with Brain Tumors" Walk Campaign with a walker at a Brain Tumor walk and meet and greet at the Richmond/Chester Hyatt Place Hotel to benefit Miles For Hope. I have also walked across my city of Scranton PA as well as from Clearwater Beach Florida to Tampa Florida. I stayed at the fabulous East Shore Resort in Clearwater Beach, the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Oldsmar Florida as well as the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Tampa Florida. I also attempted a walk from Philadelphia to Mount Laurel NJ but fell and was injured during the walk so I could not complete it. I stayed at the Aloft Hotel in Mount Laurel NJ however for a Cancer boot camp (seminars). I will be holding other walks and meet and greets before my national walk begins on Saturday April 2, 2011. The main goal of my walks and events are to spread a positive message of hope that anyone can achieve anything if they have faith in God and themselves. "All things are possible to him who believes!" The other purpose of my walks and events and then my walk across America and back is to educate people about Brain Tumors, to raise funding for research, and to provide funding for Brain Cancer and Brain Tumor patient services.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to love, worship and serve God and his son Jesus Christ as a lover and disciple of Christ. Because of that I live to love and serve others. I am not preachy or pushy about my beliefs as I do not need to be nor do I want to be. I respect diversity when it comes to spiritual or political beliefs. I believe that as people we can disagree on certain issues but do so in a loving and agreeable manner. I believe I am just a "messenger" called to share the message of faith, love and hope that I share with people in the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have survived the loss of almost everything in my life including my health, feeling like I "broke life and could not fix it," only to see my life transformed to be living the amazingly blessed life I am today.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help people as an advocate and share my experiences and knowledge with others. I want to learn about people; why they think they way they do and do the things that they do...what motivates people to be who they are and do what they do. I also want to encourage and inspire others as a result of my experiences and what I have learned in life.
