About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hot on the trail of the fleet-footed hussy Happiness.

ABOUT ME

I am an entrepreneur, software engineer, professional ballroom dancer, and currently an itinerant horse trainer. I cycled to Denver pulling a little trailer as my way of moving 1,300 miles; running Grand Canyon Rim 2 Rim 2 Rim for a fun weekend is what I try to make normal.

I live and work on a ranch outside east Zion NP. I ride the ranges with my horse, Wachí; mountain bike and run the trails that pass my cabin; explore the high desert on my off days when I am not working on my company.

I have a small cabin that can only host one or two floorsurfers, but endless space for tents and vehicles. I can even throw bedding in my crv so you have privacy and a cozy place to sleep.

I work long days--usually over 13 hours--so I cannot accept last minute guests unless you catch me around an off day.

PHILOSOPHY

"If you haven't made a mistake, you have never tried anything new."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was hosted by families in a remote aldea in Guatemala where mining companies are killing locals and trying to force them off their native lands to use for mines. Also, we met with the US Ambassador to Guatemala and talked for over an hour.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A helluva good time.
