About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the world, absorb new knowledge, and inspire others!

ABOUT ME

My friends describe me as dynamic, adventurous and spontaneous and I'd like to agree with those adjectives. :) The travel bug has bitten me hard and I'm certain it will be with me throughout my life.

PHILOSOPHY

"One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things." -Henry Miller

Be still, and know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've Couchsurfed through Spain, Israel, Italy and Greece and have had the most unforgettable adventures with all the people I've come across. Although I wasn't able to host in San Francisco, I would meet up with travelers in the city to show them around one of the best cities in the world!

I'm fascinated by the concept of Couchsurfing and so excited because it combines all my favorite things: different experiences, meeting new people, exploring new cultures, and spontaneity. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing but great, great things! Everywhere I go I spread the Couchsurfing love, and try to expose more people to one of the greatest communities that ever was.

Interests

TRAVELING! Also talking (a lot!), yoga, adventure, being in any body of water, teaching others, walking as a means of transportation, biking, cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, cinema, learning, meditation, reading, swimming, enjoying each day, exploring the unknown, and expressing my ever-present gratitude.

Music, Movies, and Books

Amelie, I am, Mr. Nobody, Waking Life

The Power of Now
The Alchemist

I love music, many varieties from instrumental, to flamenco, to bossa nova, classic rock, reggae, jazz, and more! I am teaching myself the harmonica, but secretly I want to learn to play the accordion or pineapple ukelele.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Solo traveled through SE Asia for 8 months
-Became a certified yoga teacher in India
-Floated in the Dead Sea
-Received a free hotel for one week in Amsterdam
-Ziplined in Mexico
-Sun gazed in Belize

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you English because I'm a TESOL Certified instructor. I can also show you how to whip up a delicious meal and share the stories that are the collection of my serendipitous life.
I am a 200 hour certified yoga teacher and it would be my pleasure to teach you.
