About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Host a sixty year old long bearded man on my couch.. Where are they?

ABOUT ME

To begin with! Every friend, is a good friend.

And.. Like they always say: "A top 3 says more than a thousand words."

3. Listening, finding, searching and 'throwing' music through my apartment.

2. A sober trip through nature, colors and patterns within a psychedelic frame of art.

1. The intense exchange of culture and love with beautiful people through conversation and experience.

PHILOSOPHY

Life can only flourish when life possesses you itself in a way that lives up to the potentials of natural species being.

It ain't the flowing spray paint causing disrupter between peaceful earth life and aesthetics.. It's the architectural vision underneath it, disrupting both.

And some inspiration:
... civilization means, above all, an unwillingness to inflict unnecessary pain. Within the ambit of that definition, those of us who heedlessly accept the commands of authority cannot yet claim to be civilized men [or women]. - Harold J. Laski -

Authority in this sense can refer to authority figures, but more dangerously, it can refer to abstractions of reality like dominant discourse, authoritarian economics and laws.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

There was a dude and I knew him. And that dude knew another dude, who I surprisingly also knew. And those dudes were couchsurfing and I thought.. That's just fantastic! So I started hosting wonderful people. Love it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've seen a lot of couchsurfers who were staying at the dudes places and it was great. I had some surfers over for a day and it was a lovely day. At the moment my couch is being crashed and it's a really cool experience. I can write more after my couch is my own again...

... Well.. Since the above text I hosted many and surfed little, but opening my home for others gave me one of the best experiences, conversations and sharings of my life.

... The second well.. I hosted the most wonderful girl ever in March 2013 and while she was living in the Netherlands for another 7 months, I had the pleasure to meet her over and over again. It is now the 23th of December 2013 and we are on skype together. She is in Mexico-City at the moment and I am in Amsterdam. I love her with all my heart and I never thought Couchsurfing would change my life like this. We have future plans like living together and having children. I'm 27 now and, with the experience of love I had before, I know that she is THE one for me and that this is what it feels like to be with somebody, which whom you want to share the rest of your life with. I love you very much Lizzie!

Interests

I love.. people, love itself, peace, nature, culture, music, art, conversations, documentaries, exchanges, color, my study, water, critical thinking, beards, the usual enlightenment and the small things in life. But my family and friends, how cliché, I love the most. And interest goes out to the things I love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a beautiful summer day I was walking through Dubrovnik and finding my way along the big and historic defense wall. I suddenly saw a whole in the wall and I thought.. I follow my feeling. It was sort of a little doorway, but I couldn't see what was behind it.. But I heard some chill music from the other side and it became louder. And suddenly... I was standing on the seaside of the wall and saw the sun glistering in the beautiful sea, while the waves were rocking the rocks.. Girls were sunbathing topless and the ambiance was so relaxed and lovely. Never expected to find heaven on the other side of a small hallway in a big defense wall.

Drum, dance and eat with friends, kids and Gambian family in The Gambia. No worries..

Dancing underneath the most beautiful lightning and heavy rain I'd ever seen.

Rainbow Gathering in the Alps of Northern Italy. I only came through, but the place and the people were most wonderful!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know what I can teach you, till we have met.
I don't know what I can learn from you, till we have met.
I don't know what we can share with each other, but it's probably all in between.

PS.. Is there anybody who can teach me to play guqin?
