ABOUT ME

I'm a journalist currently travelling around Israel and Palestine, looking for new experiences, new friends and some headspace to write a novel in.

I previously couch-surfed whilst in San Francisco a few years ago - where I spent time writing, exploring, meeting new people and finding myself.

In London I've spent the last year or so editing a magazine (www.opendemocracy.net/transformation), socialising, playing in my band My Therapist Says Hot Damn, starting my new band The Dykeness, drinking, and going to queer dance parties.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I heard about couch surfing I was walking down a street in Tel Aviv, Israel, and a guy accosted me and asked if I wanted an ice cream. I didn't want an ice cream, but we ended up chatting about travelling and he recommended that I get involved in couch surfing. So here I am!

Algo increíble que he hecho

Earlier this week I went to the Dead Sea, where you can float on top of the water (a bit like Jesus). I could see Jordan on the other side of the sea. It was good.

I also went to see the massive redwood trees in Muir Woods, California. That was pretty amazing.
