About Me

I have many passions including mathematics, linguistics, programming, mycology, traveling, volunteering and I especially love biking of all sorts! Learning new things is an integral part of my life and I enjoy meeting new people from different cultures and places. Learning new things and exploring new places is my passion. My dream job is in Svalbard doing arctic research alongside UNIS. I am usually traveling with my girlfriend Kelly who is a massage therapist and a real sweetheart. We love meeting new people and hope to meet you during one of our trips.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that Couchsurfing is a wonderful resource to meet new people from all around the world.

Over the years I have found that the best part of any trip is usually the people I meet along the way, and what a better way to meet people than to host and surf!

Interests

Last year I finished a 4000 mile bike tour from Denver to Vancouver to San Diego and have countless stories and adventures that have changed my life in a very meaningful way.

I like to stay active and lately have been Rock Climbing and lots of home Yoga this year.

I have a deep interest in things above the Arctic Circle and my dream is to move up one day soon. I hope to collaborate and or teach at The University Centre in Svalbard here in the near future!
