Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a member of MoMA and can get five people into the museum for $5.00 each instead of paying $25.00. I do this on Thursday.I can show travelers where to buy 1/2 price tkts to Broadway shows on the day of performance. I know fun restaurants to go to and where to get a proper pint of Guinness. LIKE vegetarian food and know some good placesto go. Love Central Park and now the Highline.

Currently a moderator in the 365-international photo project. Giving and getting a lot out of this daily project.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with the world famous CS host Bente in Norway,fabulous experience. Took part in The Toronto Film Fest CS meetup and stayed with the equally fab Catherine.
Went to Burning Kouch in Greenport,Long Island,awesome.

Interests

family,swimming,art-making it and viewing it,furniture,jewelry. Going through a John Lennon love fest at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

saw the sun come up in Ireland while laying on the lawn of a castle having been locked out of my hotel when I was in my 20's. Saw the top of Mt.Fuji from a rooftop restaurant in Tokyo. Gave street children our meal in a restaurant in Rio. Saw an Easter procession in Malaga Spain. Cooked Thansgiving diner in Dublin. Sailed in Martha's Vineyard. Went to my sisters wedding in Positano,Italy in Oct. 2010 (profile pic taken there) with my 20 yr old son and 47 family members and friends. Took my 2 younger sons to Paris the week before Christmas.
