ABOUT ME

I like to spend as much time outside everyday.

I have worked seasonally as a firefighter and a botanist for 6 years which has allowed me to see most of the United States.

I like to cook, garden and watch my chickens. I love hot springs and the alpine areas at the tops of mountains, particularly the austere granite basins of the high Sierra. Autumn is my favorite season.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I thru hiked the pacific crest trail in 2008. This was such an awesome experience, and in the end, I realized that it was the people I met while searching for solitude who made hiking for 5 1/2 months such a rewarding experience.
