Somos Nico y Maru, dos argentinos que nos enamoramos mientras compartiamos la pasion por viajar. Vivimos en Villa Pueyrredon, en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y nuestro mayor deseo es recorrer el mundo juntos y, al mismo tiempo, contagiar sonrisas por ahi con nuestro proyecto social y viajero Smiles in the World.
¿Por qué soñamos con vivir viajando? Porque es lo que nos hace realmente felices. Creemos en que podemos apostar por este estilo de vida que no solo nos permite conocer los lugares tan bellos que existen sino tambien interactuar con personas de otras culturas y aprender de ellas, al mismo tiempo que también podemos transmitir nuestras enseñanzas.
Nos encanta conocer gente y hacer nuevos amigos alrededor del mundo, porque creemos que incluso estando a miles de kilometros de distancia las relaciones pueden mantenerse como si estuvieramos cerca.
Somos alegres, divertidos aunque tambien nos gusta tener nuestros momentos de tranquilidad para relajarnos, leer, pensar o escribir para nuestros blogs de viaje, que ademas son nuestra herramienta para seguir viajando.

We are Nico and Maru, two argentinians that we fall in love as we shared the passion of travelling. We live in Villa Pueyrredon, in Buenos Aires City and our best wish is to travel the world together and, at the same time, spread smiles everywhere with our social and traveler project Smiles in the World.
Why living as travelers is our dream? Because travel make us really happy. We believe that we can bet for this lifestyle that not only let us to visit beautiful places but also to interact with people from other cultures and learn from them at the same time we can teach about our.
We love meeting people and make new friends all over the world because we think that we can keep the relationships even miles of kilometers away.
We are happy and funny but we also like having our own time of relax to read, think or write in our travel blogs which are also, our key to keep us travelling.

Cuando comas, aprecia hasta el último bocado. Abre tu mente, tus brazos y tu corazón a nuevas experiencias y nuevas personas, pues estamos unidos gracias a nuestras diferencias. Pregunta a la próxima persona que conozcas cuál es su pasión, y comparte tu sueño inspirador con ella. Viaja con frecuencia; perderte te ayudará a encontrarte. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Español:
Desafortunadamente, no tenemos espacio suficiente en nuestra casa para alojar a viajeros, pero nos encanta tener la posibilidad de encontrarnos y mostrarles un poco de nuestra ciudad. Ademas, estamos disponibles para charlar, compartir experiencias e incluso brindar nuestros conocimientos si estas planeando un viaje por alguno de los lugares donde ya estuvimos.
Los dos trabajamos por lo que durante los dias de semana nuestra disponibilidad no es full time, pero siempre hay una manera de hacerse el tiempo para un café.

English:
Unfortunately, we don’t have enough room in our house to host travelers but we love the possibility of meeting with them and show them a bit of our city.
Indeed, we are available to talk, share experiences and even help you if you are planning a trip in some of the places we’ve been before.
We both have a job so we don’t have full time availability at week days, but we always can find the way to have time for a coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Tuvimos la suerte de conocer a varias personas gracias a los Meetings que se realizan en Buenos Aires y ademas nos hemos reunido con viajeros que nos contactaron mientras estaban de viaje en Buenos Aires.
Maru, ademas, fue alojada en dos oportunidades durante su viaje por India.
Como pareja, surfeamos juntos en Brisbane en la casa de una familia típica australiana, en Seremban y Miri, Malasia, y en Brunei.

English:
We have the lucky of met a lot of people because of the Meetings in Buenos Aires and we also met some travelers who contacted us while they were travelling in Buenos Aires.
Maru, also, surfed in two opportunities during her trip in India.
As a couple, we surfed in Brisbane with a tipical aussie family, in Seremban and Miri, Malaysia, and in Brunei.

Interessen

Queremos demostrar que viajar tambien puede ser un estilo de vida. Queremos contagiar a la gente con sonrisas y aprender de cada cosa que el camino y su gente tenga para mostrarnos.

Nos gusta escribir y compartir nuestras vivencias. La fotografia y lo que este arte puede transmitir.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Español:
En esto somos bastante diferentes asi que tenemos que contarlo por separado.

A Maru le gustan todo tipo de peliculas, excepto las de ciencia ficcion y no tanto las de acción. Puede verlas infinidad de veces, una y otra vez e incluso varias veces seguidas.
De música entiende poco y nada, asi que su oido puede adaptarse a diferentes estilos aunque prefiere no tener que escuchar electronica.
Y los libros… los libros forman parte de su vida tanto como los viajes. Empezo a leer desde muy chica y es un habito que sigue manteniendo. Si un libro le gusta, se lo devora y puede leerlo mas de una o dos veces.

A Nico…. Peliculas ? mmmm Todos aquellas que le hagan pasar un buen momento adelante de una tele o cine, nada de terror porque le dan miedo (?). Cuanto mas pochoclera mejor!!!
De música no tiene un estilo o banda preferida, puede escuchar bastante musica electronica , como tambien rock internacional.
Con respecto a los libros esta comenzando un romance con ellos, por ahora la mayoria de los que leyo son deportivos o biografias.

We are quite different at this topic so we are going to write it in separate.

Maru loves every kind of movies, except for science fiction and action as well. She can see the same movie one and one again.
She knows anything about music so she can listen every style but she prefers not to listen electronic music.
And books… books are a part of her life, as much as travels. She started to read when she was very young and it is a habit she still keeps. If she loves a book, she reads it really fast and she can read it one or two times.

Nico… Movies?? Mmm every movie who makes him to have a good time in front of the TV or in the cinema but he can’t watch horror movies because he is scared about them (?) If they are to see with a lot of popcorn is better!
About music he has not a preferred style or a group he likes the most but he can listen a lot of electronic music and international rock as well.
About books, now he is starting a love story with them but most of the books he read were about sports or biographies.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Cosas increibles que hayamos visto hay muchas. El mundo esta lleno de esas cosas que te dejan sin aliento.
Para nosotros, lo mejor es descubrir la generosidad que hay en el mundo a cada paso que damos y poder reafirmar nuestra teoria de que una sonrisa puede cambiarlo todo y abrir las puertas a muchas cosas hermosas y positivas.

There are a lot of incredible things we’ve seen. The world is full of things that leave you breathless.
For us, the best thing is discovering the generosity in the world in every step we do and, reaffirm our theory that a smile can change everything and open you the doors to find a lot of beautiful and positive things.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Podemos enseñar sobre nuestra cultura, nuestro pais y sobre todo, sobre el valor de la sonrisa.
Tambien podemos ayudarte si estas empezando o tenes ganas de empezar con tu propio blog (usamos Wordpress, pero podemos intentarlo con Blogger tambien). No somos expertos en fotografia, pero nos gusta y podemos mostrarte lo que hacemos y si nos queres enseñar, mejor todavía!
Hablamos español nativo pero no somos profesores asi que si queres que te ayudemos, tenenos paciencia si no sabemos la mejor manera de explicarlo. Nosotros vamos a poner toda nuestra voluntad para hacerlo lo mejor posible.
Y ademas, queremos compartirte todo lo que aprendimos con nuestro estilo de vida y contarte sobre nuestras experiencias como viajeros.

Y obvio, estamos abiertos a aprender todo lo que puedas enseñarnos. Nos gusta aprender sobre todo, y mas sobre tu forma de vida y tu cultura.

We can teach about our culture, our country and, above all, about the value of a smile.
We can also help you if you are starting or if you want to start with your own blog (we use Wordpress but we can try with Blogger as well). We are not photography expert but we like it and we can show you what we do with it and, if you want to teach us is great for us!
We speak Spanish as our native language but we are not professional teachers so, if you want to learn something you need patience with us because maybe we don’t know the best way to teach it. But, of course, we are going to do our best to help you knowing our language!

And, obviously, we are open to learn everything you can teach us. We love learning about everything and, specially, about you, your lifestyle and your culture.
