About Me

I'm currently living in Murcia, working in an European project (that I love very much btw) on boosting Regenerative Agriculture, a way to make farming mitigate climate change by capturing CO2 and storing it in healthy soils.

Born in Brazil, but feeling more like a World Citizen, since the last 10 years I barely stayed in one place for much more than 6 months (7 countries, many cities).

As a brief recap..
2021: In Murcia doing a research on the potential that Insect Farming has to reduce municipal solid waste problems.
2019-20: Lisbon, taking classes on natural resources and forest management and later during pandemic in Brazil with my family.
2017-18: Berlin (where my heart still is), in charge of researching solutions on Zero Waste, focused on Community Composting
2016: Madrid, trying to start a social enterprise on decentralised solutions to Municipal Solid Waste - and Helsinki working as a gardener
2015: Traveling mostly, thousands of kms in Northeast Brazil and Argentinean Patagonia, some random jobs back in Madrid.
2014: first year in Europe: environment studies in Madrid, working as gardener in Finland, studying English in Malta
2013: finishing my BSc on Environment Sciences in Sao Paulo
2012: Intership in Buenos Aires, Argentina
...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After around 12 years, the question now is: why do I keep using Couchsurfing?
“Couchsurfing is a victim of its success, and I know people who say there are a lot of people just looking for a free place to stay. But for those of us who want that real Couchsurfing experience, it’s still there. You might have to look through more profiles to find people who understand that.”
Task everyday harder...
