ABOUT ME

I am the same charming and open-minded person who knew this site more than 12 years ago, but with more experience and with more desire to continue the journey and continue opening the doors of my home to travelers who visit my city.
I would prefer hosting only those CS'ers who have had at least a few positive references and are also active hosts. I don't have time for freeloaders and for those who do not understand what CS is all about. It's NOT JUST a place to find a free place to sleep.

Actualmente vivo en Torrevieja, España . Espero y deseo participar activamente, viajando por toda España e ir conociendo a residentes y surfers, yendo a reuniones en la ciudades que visite , y aprender poco a poco de este hermoso país.

Now i´m living in Torrevieja, Spain, it is a nice place. I look forward to participating actively at CS groups, traveling all over Spain and getting to know host and surfers, i would love going to meetings at the cities i will visit, and learning little by little from this beautiful country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mi primera experiencia como anfitrión fue excelente, mis huéspedes una joven pareja de chilenos y otra de argentinos, fue increíble. CS hace posible la interacción entre culturas y te permite hacer nuevas amistades, es lo máximo!
My first experience like host was a young couple from Chile and another from Argentina at the same time, it was amazing. CS let us interact with other cultures and is a friendship maker, it´s the best in my opinion.

Interests

Hacer amistades y mantenerlas en el tiempo, Viajar por el mundo y la conservación del mismo, conocer la mayor cantidad de lugares en nuestro planeta en el tiempo que me regala la vida y por ultimo pero no menos importante la arquitectura de las diferentes culturas del mundo.

Music, Movies, and Books

Disfruto de ir al cine, o ver una pelicula en casa en compañi­a de amigos o hasta solo, mis preferidas son las de Suspenso o terror, Drama, accion, las de James Bond, ciencia ficcion y las no comerciales. En cuanto a la musica, me gusta de todo tipo, y mis preferidas son Techno, Chill Out, Opera House, Trance, el reggae y la musica ti­pica de mi pais es hermosa, entre otras.
De los libros, me gustan sobre temas especializados en mi carrera, sobre ciudades y paises, y alguna que otra novela.

I enjoy going to the movie theater, and i also love watching movies at home with some friends or even by myself. I like horror and suspense films, action, drama, love story, James Bond, SF and non commercial films. Talking about music i´m a good listener of any kind of music, but certainly i prefer Techno, Chill Out, Opera House, Trance and reggae, and of course the music from Venezuela is beautiful. I like technical books about my career, cities and countries and sometimes a novel is fine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-La última cosa increíble que me tocó hacer, a los 48 años, fue salir de mi país y dejar todo atrás, comenzar desde 0 en un país extraño, y en eso estoy, reinventando mi vida.
-Haber abierto las puertas de mi casa a más de 500 personas, entre surfers y viajeros, y hacerles sentir en casa, enseñarles mi hermosa Maracaibo y sus alrededores, y lo mejor, haber disfrutado de cada una de esas experiencias y el aprendizaje recibido.
-Bañarme en la cascada Salto Ángel, la caída de agua más alta del mundo, Auyantepuy, Parque Nacional Canaima, estado Bolívar, Venezuela.
-Una noche estrellada en Playa Blanca, nadar en la playa y ver el plancton resplandecer en al agua, Parque Nacional Mochima, estado Sucre, Venezuela.
-Bucear en Isla Larga y observar el barco alemán “Sesostris” hundido en 1940, Parque Nacional San Esteban, estado Carabobo, Venezuela.
-Subir el Huayna Picchu, la cordillera de Los Andes, Perú, en el año 2002, cuando no existían tantas restricciones, subí yo solo, fue increíble.

-The last incredible thing I had to do, when I was 48 years old, it was to leave my country and leave everything behind, start from zero in a foreign country.
And that´s exactly what i´m doing right now, reinventing my life.
-To have opened the doors of my house for more than 500 people, between surfers and travelers, and make them feel at home, to showed them my beautiful Maracaibo and its surroundings, and the best of all, i enjoyed each experience and all knowledge i had learned from them.
-I took a bath at Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world, Auyantepuy, Canaima´s National Park, Bolivar state, Venezuela.
-A starry night on Playa Blanca, swam on the beach and watched the plankton shine in the water, Mochima´s National Park, Sucre state, Venezuela.
-I Dived on Isla Larga and i saw the “Sesostris” a german ship, sank in 1940, San Esteban´s National Park, Carabobo State, Venezuela.
-Climbed the Huayna Picchu by myself, the Andes mountain range, Peru, in 2002, at that moment there were not so many restrictions, it was an incredible experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

De las pocas cosas que he aprendido en mi paso por la vida, así como el gran aprendizaje obtenido por interactuar con gente maravillosa a lo largo de mi existencia, seria gratificante para mi, que de nuestro tiempo compartido pudiera dejarte algo positivo o algún aprendizaje, por muy pequeño que sea.
Of the few things that I have learned in my life, as well as the great learning obtained by interacting with wonderful people throughout my existence, it would be gratifying for me, that from our shared time I could leave you something positive or some learning for as small as it is
