ABOUT ME

Im a chemical engineer who has been traveling and working in France and the Netherlands for the last 4 years. I'm an outdoor and adventure freak with a love for cooking and exploring other cultures. My passion is for the mountains...so time for me to get out of the Netherlands :-)

I'm a happy and passionate person who is always looking for something new and fun to do as well as finding a couple of quiet moments to read and drink coffee.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im surfing my way back for one final trip around Europe then back to Aus.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Its all new for me, a friend of mine has convinced me its the best thing ever. This is my way of traveling, meeting more people than you find in a youth hostel, getting to know the cultures and seeing more of a city than walking with the Lonely Planet in one hand and a camera in the other with all the other hordes.

I hope I can meet some cool people and cook and eat with them.

兴趣

Adventures, climbing, mountains, biking, hiking and in general being out in the wild. I'm in my happy place when standing on top of a hill with the wind blowing around me and nothing but what I have on my back.

I was a cook/chef once before I became a chemist so I love cooking and eating. My one fear with traveling is that I wont be able to cook for months...so hopefully ill get a chance to cook with some other CSers.

Hiked across Corsica for two weeks (GR20)
Climbed the 3 sisters in Australia (google it) at 3am in the rain.
Watched the Northern Lights from the jacuzzi on a boat

I can teach a little bit of French or Dutch to people. Chemistry if people really care (im sure someone does) and possibly a bit of cooking skills.
