About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To eat as many hotdogs by campfires as my life allows :D

ABOUT ME

I am a high energy person who has always got something on the go. I work hard to play hard. Long term goals will hopefully bring me to the Ivory Coast on a semi-permanent basis. I like to laugh loudly. I enjoy watching soccer, live music, traveling, learning and working. (yes, i actually really like to work, its good for the soul)

PHILOSOPHY

Work hard, play hard. Breathe. Smile. Live simply and happily and don't acquire to much stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the experiences I have had from couchsurfing. I've had lots of interesting people stay with me, and had a great experiences staying with others. It's a way to connect with others, too 'see' the world when your flat broke, and to help a person out ;)

Interests

My favorite thing in the world is sitting by a campfire. I love the outdoors, hiking and camping. I love walking, star-gazing, reading, biking, rock-climbing. I also really enjoy having a few beers with friends and spending time with my family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1)When all the characters/animals walked in during the live musical of the Lion King.
2)When I got to see a sunset off of Hastings Ridge in the Crowsnest Pass. Best view I have ever seen in my life.
3)When I was staying with a friend in San Vincente Guerro, Mexico and this old senior sang me a song and danced to it.
4)Getting to see the biggest pyramid in American, El Mirador after a 6 day trek in the jungle.
5)Semuc Champey waterfalls, caves and underground river in Guatemala is the most amazing natural wonder I've ever seen. IT IS BEAUTIFUL.
6)Snowboarded in 6 feet of pure powder in Fernie, B.C. Blew my mind.
7)Hiked a beer to the top of Whyna Picchu, one of the mountains next to Macchu Pichu, and just chilling at the top with a few friends staring down at the great views.
8)Swimming through bioluminescent plankton in the dark in Thailand. Its like swimming through a sea of stars.
9)Being in Brasil for the World Cup. The entire 2 months were mind-blowingly amazing.
10) The Christ Corcovado came out of the clouds of heaven. It was seriously one of the most beautiful moments to do this hike to a local lookout point on a cloudly day and see the Christ come out of the clouds during the sunset.
