ABOUT ME

How to start a description of myself... That´s not an easy task, cause there is so much to say! To begin with my profession: After I visited university in Paderborn, I am now a teacher for music, arts and philosophy in Hamburg. I also made a basic and advanced training to become a teacher for "Deutsch als Fremdsprache" and now I even teach students from foreign countries to learn german.

I was born near Cologne - the "principal town" of german carnival, that means I´m very open-minded and a bit crazy ;-). I´m also a musician (a singer and a saxophonist in a band), play a little bit guitar and write own songs and lyrics.

I´d like to visit many foreign contries, get to know many lovely people and like to show them nice cities in Germany. I´m also interested in travelling a short (or longer) time together!
I´m sure we can have a great time visiting some new places!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I´ve been to Italy and met some nice people there for a coffee while I stayed at a campground.
In Freiburg, Germany, I stayed for a few days with a kind and funny couchsurfer and his daughter. It was a great time with them! In Paderborn I spent two evenings out with a guy from Dresden and also hosted a guy from Great Britain. Jared, a very good friend of mine from Cincinnati, Ohio, stayed with me for about 3 weeks - it was also a nice experience and a wonderful time!

Intereses

Music!!!, so I love to visit concerts and to do music by myself.
I´m interested in culture: You love theater, comedy, movies? Let´s go!!
I also do lots of sports (running, squash, badminton/speedminton, fitness, inline-skating, ...) and am interested in getting to know new sports!
I love to get to know other cultures, so I am very interested in visiting restaurants of other countries (African, Asian, American, ...)!

Música, películas y libros

I love reading books, especially scientific books or magazines about psychology or philosophie.

I like different kinds of music: rock, soul, blues, rock´n´roll, rockabilly, funk, swing, jazz, sometimes also house-music for dancing.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Just one? There are some!!:
1. I moved to Hamburg after refusing a good job offer in Paderborn. I didn´t know what to do in Hamburg and if I could get a comparable job there. But I just wanted to live in the most beautiful city of Germany - HAMBURG! ;-) And I still live here.
2. I taught some school-classes in Kenya.
3. I visited nice places in the USA.
4. I booked a flight without knowing where it lands - and it landed in Venice! It was awesome!

I am a professional teacher of "Deutsch als Fremdsprache" (= german as a foreign language). That means: If you really want to learn german, I´m your girl! ;-)
