ABOUT ME
Back on couchsurfing in 2024 after a few years hiatus and looking for that old school couchsurfing connection. Are couchsurfing meetings still a thing?

Currently living in P*well River on the Upper Sunshine Coast. We are ferry access only or you can fly in. It's pretty good here, ocean, lakes, mountains and an amazing community of pals.

I lived north to south and east to west in Canada and have nestled in such a beautiful town not a lot of people get to visit. We are a bit off the beaten track here.

In 2016 I lived in Ljubljana Slovenia and I miss it everyday. I haven't been back to Europe since. I decided to quit my job and choose myself and go to places that are calling. I have my trips listed - Dublin - Manchester - Istanbul - ending in Tbilisi where I'll find an apartment for a few months.

I do like cities but love places with good people to connect with.

Would love to meet up!

I have been spoiled at every stop meeting amazing people and can only hope it continues on the journey. I'm into live music, urban gardening, street art, harm reduction and social welfare, and sustainability.

I also would like to do some more bike riding, urban exploring, visiting old graveyards, rusty old industrial spots and general chatting with anyone who can hold a conversation!

I first surfed in Iceland in 2011 and have been hooked ever since!
This site is amazing and amazing people participate and are brought together. Love it!

In BC and the Great White North I do my best to host when I can and make those feel welcome and try to give a true West Coast experience!

Nothing but the best hospitality in the world!! Great friends have been made!

Intereses

camping, hitch-hiking, road trips, sailing, hiking, wandering, dreaming, beach combing, picnics, potlucks, waterfalls, gardening, crafting, and live music. (mainly post punk, ambient, shoegaze, punk, psychedelic, stoner rock, doom, folk, bluegrass, soul, dark cabaret, reggae). Coffee and cigarettes too!

Música, películas y libros

When it comes to movies I watch a lot of documentaries. Not really a fan of Hollyweird.
For music, I prefer live. favorite instruments are banjo, accordion, and bagpipes. I am open to most tunes mainly stoner rock, post rock, post punk and americana .
As for books, I like the library and mainly read non-fiction and non-sense.

Sleeping atop a west coast mountain and seeing a shooting star.

Seeing the milky way while dropped anchor in Port Graves Cove, BC.

Flying into Keflavik finally realizing my childhood dream. And Iceland provided the best time ever!!

Hitchhiked 12 countries in 2013.

Took 3 months off to hitch and camp up Vancouver Island.

Spending solstice at the Arctic Ocean in Tuktoyaktuk!
