I'm Emily. I come from London, then I lived in Leeds for a few years. Leeds didn't want me any more so after a bit of drifting around I've ended up in Berlin.
Currently severely underpaid but enjoying my life.
I'm a quiet, laid-back kind of person but I enjoy company and good conversation.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet new people. When I visit places I love to get a sense of how people really live there.
I use Couchsurfing a lot to find out about new places. The forums are an amazing resource. I've also met some great people here :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While in Leeds I hosted Jasin from the Netherlands and Violeta, a Bulgarian-Italian. Both great people and I couldn't have asked for nicer guests!
I'm hoping to do some couchsurfing myself in the near future.

Intereses

Travelling (obviously), Languages, Cooking (usually involving pasta, Reading, eating ice cream, exploring, parties (or just a quiet drink...), tea!!

Books: Gone with the Wind, Harry Potter, The Colour Purple, To kill a Mockingbird, Pride and Prejudice
Music: I like rockier things, some really cheesy old stuff; I've recently started to appreciate electro music more - I think it comes with being in Berlin
Films: no particular genre but I like to see international films - I've seen a lot of German films

Spent a month in Albania and came home alive. Actually, it's a lovely place.

Always wanted to learn to play the drums, but I guess that takes more than one day...
