ABOUT ME

I'm told I smile a lot, which must be a good thing. I can be quite sarcastic at times but I am lovely really. I would say i'm fairly intelligent I have worked in finance, real estate & travel. I think i'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. I will all ways try to listen to someone and give them my honest opinion. I like to think i'm a Yes person and will try everything at least once. I'm a foodie and enjoy cooking, trying new food & sharing a meal with friends and a few drinks. In 2010 I went travelling to South Africa for 6 months and came home 2 and a half years later having visited Australia, New Zealand and Asia. I have been home just under a year and im hoping to go travelling for another 6 Months soon starting in September. Im flying into NYC on 1st Sept I will be in the USA for 6 weeks travelling from NYC to San fran so im hoping to do a bit of couch surfing and some road tripping along the way. If anyone can help with couches or just general recommendations I would be really grateful and will send good karma and beer your way...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't couch surfed before but I have done something similar in that you do a few hours work in return for bed & board. The experiences I had from that working on a farm, renovating a house, horse riding, sea fishing being a million miles from anywhere and making some new friends along the way. So I just hope to meet some new people and share a few laughs along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a member for a while but never got round to looking into couchsurfing, so my next trip in September I would like to try it.

Volunteered at a wildlife reserve and woken up to the sound of monkeys running across your roof and Lions roaring... actually sounds like thunder. Sky diving, hang gliding, Hiking in the Drakensburg Mountains
