About Me

CURRENT MISSION

hitchhiking to Lisbon!

ABOUT ME

23 y/o student from Wloclawek, Poland. My girlfriend convinced me to sign up here as she is a bit experienced in CS ;) so here I am!

I am honest, tolerant and very helpful. I DO NOT smoke or mess, so don't worry ;)

And, what's the most important - I respect the 'my home is my castle' rule!

PHILOSOPHY

The biggest thing about CS project is that we don't really care about beliefs, political or moral views, sexual orientation or social status. What we DO care about is ability to help each other and learn simultaneously. It's a BIG thing. May be naive, but who really cares ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a little experience with CouchSurfing - I was hitchhiking to Vilnius and Riga and thanks to CS I could meet some wonderful people and, of course, had a place to stay ;) then I stayed at Couchsurfers in Berlin, Prague and Vienna.

Interests

History (especially interwar period), diplomacy, mens fashion (i'm a shoe freak :D)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: well, this will be faster - http://www.lastfm.pl/user/jarzembowski ;)

Movies: I'm a big Star Wars fan. But it didn't stop me from watching "Big Lebowski", for, like, hundred times.

Books: as I hate fiction books (yes!) I read a lot about history and politics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went hitchhiking for the first time! I can remember all the cars and drivers till now :D But it taught me humility, too. And that's how it begun:

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have any, you know, 'special skills'. I can tell you a bit about polish history, I can show you how to prepare some delicious, traditional meals. What I would like to learn is to play drums, so if you're a drummer I would be delighted :D

It would be great if you could tell me about some, I would say, 'special features' about your country, like did you know that you can't buy alcohol in a latvian shop after 10PM!? :D

Oh, and I can teach you how to draw a giraffe (REALLY!)

Countries I’ve Visited

Italy, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Poland
