I'm a student of culture and arts. Therefore I am always keen to learn about different habits, lifestyles, religions -- cultures. I love to meet new people and love if someone's view of the world changes mine. I like if prejudices are overcome and basically a nice chat about almost everything.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Thanks to couchsurfing I met some awesome people during my travels in Australia. It helps you to get to know a new city and meet people. Can only recommend it.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies: Can't remember any real good one. Isn't that sad? But basically I enjoy movies which make me think or laugh. I for example liked Memento, American History X, Fight Club (artistically done) and to some extent Inception. But I'm also fine with movies like Kickass, Hangover and Bolt :)

Music: Alternative + Rock. I've been to quite some festivals and am crazy about good music. I like Muse, Placebo, Beatsteaks, Foo Fighters, System of a down but also Ska-P, Vela Puerca and Johnny Cash.
But I also enjoy classical music (raised to that).

Books: They are my achilles. My luggage is usually made up of books. This time refrained from taking too many :-(. I prefer a good book to any movie. The last really good book I've read was "Die Entdeckung der Langsamkeit". I basically enjoy books which are somewhat different. I hate the 08/15 scheme, like when you know straight away what is going to happen. There is a reason why I study literature.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Done: Cliff diving, climbing Mt. Doom, surfing (doesn't sound that amazing but it is!), being brought home by the Thai food delivery service in earthquake devastated Christchurch.
Seen: Melbourne Cup, Milford Sound.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I know how to play classic guitar and piano - can teach you, if interested :)
I love cooking and creating new recipes and combinations - however I'm also prepared to pass on grandma's traditional German recipes.
I can tell you things about culture in general which make your world look different,if you really enjoy listening to those kind of things.
