To enjoy the UK again after 12 years in Spain and meet interesting people travelling through Liverpool, a city I have totally fallen in love with!

ABOUT ME

I'm English and have two teenagers in London and the USA. I love travelling and backpacked all over the world before settling in Spain near the Pyrenees.Once the children left the nest I decided I needed a new adventure and here I am in Liverpool. I consider myself young at heart and get on well with people of all ages.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to make the most of every minute and only work to live! I want my children to be open minded and accepting of people of every race, religion, colour, background...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like meeting people from other countries. When travelling as a young woman I received lots of help, generosity and hospitatlity and want to do the same for other people now that I am settled.

PLEASE NOTE! Couchsurfing has changed a lot in recent years and I am now more fussy about the people I host. It is very unlikely that I will accept your request if 1) You do not have a full profile with photo 2) You have a new profile and have not conributed anything to the CS community 3) You send me an obvious "copy and paste" request. 4) Your request is last minute. 5) You obviously don't realise/care/ appreciate that you are asking to stay in my home.

XAVI in Vilafranca hosted me for one night

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learnt to scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef. Have ran the London Marathon twice. Have met some great people in my life and every wrinkle on my face tells a story :o)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a friendly welcome and a comfortable home and help in getting to know the city and the surroundings. I'm very busy with work this year so I don't have time to show anyone the sights, but enjoy having dinner with CS at home or going out for a beer.
Please remember! I host much more than I surf so please be respectful in my home.
