About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Mission: Studying Spanish in Panama City

ABOUT ME

I'm a free travelling software engineer. I'm intending to visit every country in the world, and am hoping to drive the Pan-American Highway in a year or so. As such, I'm working to learn Spanish, and move forward on those goals.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is that one must live life to the max. Most people go from life without any overarching goals, or desire to actually "live", instead getting caught up in the smallest things. I've learned that one can't simply live that way, and must do what is right for them, less they never find themselves.

I'm a wanderer, and I'm not one to let other people define who I am (though sometimes I struggle at this). I hope to find others who can follow the path I lead, and help those I find along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't usually have a fixed address, and live out in the middle of nowhere, so I can't generally host people, though I do allow anyone who is in the area to stay (with the permission of my roommate). When I'm travelling the Pan-American, I hope to stay in places large enough I can host surfers wherever I am.

Interests

I do writing, take photos, and help people who I meet. I've travelled around the world, and am working on getting ready to travel the Pan-American Highway, and using the Transcanada as a warmup for that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've visited Iraq on a whim in 2011, and traveled through the Balkans solo seeing Sarajevo and other war torn cities first hand.
