Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

for the time being I would love to host people passing through Minneapolis and/or show them around the twin cities. Hang out, listen to stories, etc. I'm in the kind of situation where there are lots of train hoppers/transients around a lot, I love hearing travellers' stories.

I'm also looking to move to Texas at the end of the summer and would love to make connections/friends from there!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

it started on the bus one time with a simple question from a stranger, but I ended up taking a group of transients all around Minneapolis and Saint Paul and eventually leading them to the freight train yard where they left that night for New Orleans. The stories they shared and the raw experience and different perspectives they gave me were such an important, invaluable experience to me. As soon as I heard about CS, the prospect of experiencing similar things with people from other COUNTRIES just sounded too amazing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

when I was 11 a tornado destroyed my town and tore the roof from over my head. It was horrifying and changed my entire life forever. I will never forget it.
