I'm an American, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I love to play guitar and sing; travel and learn about new cultures; make solid friends with which to hang out (that's important - want to be my friend?); go out and explore the world. I don't drink much. As much as I LOVE to try new cuisines, I can't do it as much as I'd like because that gets expensive. It's a treat though. I'm not monogamous and I'm not religious. I'm a liberal. I like to speak French whenever I get the chance. I like to have time to myself as well, read and be in nature. I really, really love kitty cats. I love beautiful nature views. I like photography. I like what I do for work, and having a good schedule that facilitates it. I'm positive, open, honest, upbeat, and I love to laugh. =)

It is incredible what one can accomplish when they do not allow fear to hold them back.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to network with people before I travel to a city. I also have been known to clean the house where I'm staying to feel like I'm contributing and not completely a burden (I might have a guilt complex...haha)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I cannot even express in words what the couchsurfing community has done for me. CS has given me the most incredible group of active friends in Hawaii, set me on my path of true healthfulness, brought me to my health guru and then my raw foods guru, giving me memories I will never forget... The people I have met on this site have literally changed my life in the best way imaginable. I don't know who I would be or what shape I would be had I never found it.

Flying through a world of enormous white, pink, and blue clouds and knowing that they belonged to the home of Greek Gods and Goddesses, while on the decent to Crete, Greece. Rock Climbing in Arches & Moab, Utah and Yosemite. Watching a thunderstorm on the ocean at night, hundreds of miles away off the coast of Kenting, Taiwan while swimming in the warm ocean waters with my best friend. Walking the streets in Naxos, Greece while savouring a perfect, fresh, cheap gyro. Taking a cooking class and eating the fresh home-made italian goodness we created with my family in Tuscany, Italy. Finding a hidden sulphur hot spring in a naturally-created rock bathtub, in an ocean cave in Milos, Greece. Taking a felucca ride to a fruit-farming village island on the Nile in Luxor, Egypt. Finding a hidden house, stream, and meadow, under a canopy of trees on Naxos, in Greece, with my favorite traveling companion. Feeling the effects of good, clean raw food. Experiencing good samaritanism. Finding the great love of my life (thanks to CS) and creating a whole new life together. To be continued...
