About Me

ABOUT ME

[2014 February UPDATE] From 03/12 to 03/23
I'll be at San Francisco, so I won't be able to host you :(
If you are sending me a request and you are new at CouchSurfing (doesn't have any references), please send me a social media link or anything that I can know you better.

After that, during weekdays I'll be in Bauru (countryside city in São Paulo state) and weekends maybe in São Paulo city. During holiday season, I'll stay in São Paulo city.
If I can't host you, I wish you the best in your trip!

I like technology, video making and editing, and special effects. I study Design at Unesp, a public university in Sao Paulo, Brazil and last year I had the wonderful experience of studying abroad, in NYC. I was astonished by the diversity there.
I like meeting people - hearing and learning what they know is wonderful.
I enjoy reading - I used to read more ficion, but right now I'm reading Lucia Santaella's book, who is a semiotics professor. She writes about modern things, such as video games and post-human.
I wish to work at the video game or special FX industry, so you will hear me talk a lot about these, although I enjoy chatting about anything I know and I don't know.

PHILOSOPHY

I prefer to live my life not thinking about it too much. When I do, I wonder how big the universe is or how it feels to be dead. Usually, I am thinking about how the time is passing too fast - I want to do more than my time can handle. And most of the time, that's kinda sad.

So today I only think - whatever decision I make, it'll bring me good things. If not now, in the future for sure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My first experience was in Brasilia, where I've spent 4 days at Joao's house.

In NYC, I've arranged a meeting with a young lady called Yukie. We've been friends ever since and it was wonderful meeting her.
I've also attended to a number of Couch Surfing meetups, hosted by Juan. He's a sweetheart!!!

And this year, I've hosted Joonggeon. It's has been a pleasure and a great way to begin the year!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing only gave me great experiences and I would like to help more and build a solid and trustworthy community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's a funny story that happened to me last year.
I had this friend and she was crazy about work. Someday I went to her place at her request to help her with a project.
It was winter.

Once I got there, she opened the door, we sat on the chair in the kitchen.
And, I remember so clearly, she said: "It's hot in here", so she began taking her pants off.
WE WERE NOT THAT CLOSE. We only knew each other for less than 2 months.

Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun (in a not pervert way). That scene was unexpected.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I've told a friend of mine, my stay in NYC and contact with different people taught me respect towards other cultures and tolerance, in a direct or indirect way. Everybody, no exclusion, have something to teach and we have a lot to learn.
