I've been using this profile for a while now...this means I started as a single traveler, went on to travelling as a couple, and now we travel as a family!

My boyfriend (and father of the children) has also evolved on CS: he started travelling with a good friend, then traveled by himself, then we travelled together and now we travel with our children.

So now it's the four of us: me, Alex, our toddler Samuel and our baby Gael. Since we both have experienced quite a lot the CS way of travelling, we know that it's the best way of getting to know the place, the people and the customs as you dip into it from the first minute.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In a world that is taken by distrust and monetary exchanges, where people only do things for people they know and expect something in return, we see CS as one of the last 'rebel' places in the world, where you trust people you don't know yet and they trust you... and it works magically!

Although we can't host at the moment (our place is quite small) we always liked having people round and have also slept at many other people's places over the years. We could say our couchsurfing experience started well before our internet experience...

Interests

I have been around books and stories from an early age and love words and language. I'm also passionate about my work.

Alex is passionate about cyclism and also sports data in general.

Samuel basically likes playing and Gael is starting to join him :)
