About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever"(Mahatma Gandhi)

ABOUT ME

I have all the Mexican pride around me, I love our people, our food, our costumes and everything that is Mexican related...I started couch surfing during my exchange year at Toulouse, France, and after that, I just fell in love with the idea of getting to know people from all around the world. I've done so many crazy things during my life and I just don't want to stop doing them!! so, if you have any crazy plans, count me in!!

I won a year of free airplane tickets during 2013 and after that I just decided I wanted to make something of my life that had to do with traveling and sharing everything that makes people fall in love with my country.

I am currently living in Mexico City working at a tech startup, and I'm planning on having a startup of my own related with everything I've written so far....so yeah, I guess we can have loooong and unboring talks ;)

PHILOSOPHY

"Now: A funny word to represent a whole world and a whole life" Ernest Hemingway

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started as many other members: looking for a cheap way to travel. But something along the way made me realize the potential of this amazing "site" where you are able to know people from all around the world; after 2013 when I was traveling for free thanks to Volaris, I was hosted on every city I traveled and there is no explanation of how wonderful people are and how amazing human kindness is, I think that by couch surfing we are definitely making this world a better place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted, I've been a host, I've been to CouchSurfing events, etc. and I've never had any bad experiences. I am getting to know the CouchSurfing group here in Mexico City and I've been able to know really cool people, if you are new to this, I am sure you won't regret it.

Interests

I want to finish everything I've written on my Bucket-List, some of those things are:
-Running at the San Fermines (I've already been there without the run :( )
-Going to the Tomatina
-Running downhill for a cheese in Holland
-Seeing the Northern Lights in Iceland and/or Norway

Among many others....

  • dining
  • cheese
  • running
  • technology
  • traveling
  • surfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I am very open to any genre, personally I've liked Trainspotting, Requiem for a dream, Ciudad de Dios, El secreto de sus ojos, Días de Gracia and Irreversible.
Music: I am a semi-professional guitar player, I had to choose between a professional career or a musical career and my decision went to the professional career path, thanks to this I've learnt that music is more than sounds and rhythms, it is passion, ideas, history, philosophy, etc. I have no specific preferences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done many incredible things, and I try to do something incredible on a daily basis, today for example, I ate a reaaaaally nice taco :)

Teach, Learn, Share

My favorite kind of people is the one that has their own ideas and live their lives accordingly, just that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of things to talk about!!

Some eccentric songs I've gathered from my traveling experiences, and a lot of funny stories :)

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In
