ABOUT ME

I travel a great deal. I'm currently working in Ethiopia. Before that, I was based in Bangladesh, Mauritius, Singapore, Thailand, USA, and Australia and other places!

I am currently most interested in helping countries develop more effectively. My area of expertise is in transport planning -- mainly related to improving road and public transport in cities -- but my focus is increasingly on issues of governance as it is essential to help governments develop good government if development is to be successful.

Intereses

I like to travel a lot, particularly in adventurous places, but I also like exploring every type of culture ancient and modern.

I love music and write about it for fun, most recently for the Dhaka Daily Star and for The Nation in Thailand.
