ABOUT ME

I am who I am and I will never judge you for who you are.

PHILOSOPHY

Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.

You will never be completely at home again, because a part of your heart will always be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness in loving and knowing people in more than one place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting open minded people all across the world, you can learn so much. I hope that I have as much to share!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a girl in Nottingham, we stayed up all night watching The Big Bang Theory. The next day she made me breakfast and we went to a huge thrift sale. We made our way to a venue called 'Malt Cross' that was having a free music gig where we spent all day chatting. Felt like I have known her for years and was sad that I wasn't going to see her again.

Interests

I love eating but recently it is more about finding the little cafes around a city that have something to offer. (A record cafe, themed or rooftop terraces, my fav!) I play guitar but I am not very good, LOVE to travel, listen to music and talk about all walks of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

TONS AND TONS.

Drum and Bass.
Fiction Fantasy.
Loads of Anime...live action & B-movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My number one moment in life was when I was teaching English in China to my little (jr.high/middle school) students. Not only were they brilliant, hardworking they were amazing to me. They taught me more about my own cultural heritage then a book could ever teach me and treated better than gold. It was hard to say good bye but they have shaped who I am today.

I know it says one.....and climbed Kawa Ijen in East Java because I am not as fit as most, making it to the top was a serious huff. XD

Teach, Learn, Share

I love playing the guitar! Singing! Baking cookies...you know. The fun stuff. I can talk on and on about about anything really, life tactics, philosophy...how to travel on forever and all the reasons why...seriously ask me a question, I'll have an answer. Though it is for you to judge if you agree with me.

I am happy to teach English, be a tour guide or just share some mentally stimulating conversation over a nice hot cup of coffee. Oh did I mention how much I love coffee?

What I Can Share with Hosts
