ABOUT ME

I live on Long Island but spend much of my time in Manhattan. I like NBC comedies, caffeinated beverages, baking, playing with Photoshop, writing, and gazing in awe at beautiful Art Deco architecture. Cats are my favorite and one of my ultimate goals is to see a platypus in real life.

Musica, film e libri

I quite enjoy classic rock (Journey, Rush, The Who) and other stuff (Peephole, Yelle, David Guetta). Mean Girls will always be my favorite film, but some good movies I've seen recently include The Social Network, Megamind, and Breakfast at Tiffany's. I also very much enjoyed Capote's book of the same name. I'm currently reading The Catcher in the Rye. There will always be a place in my heart for the Harry Potter books.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I slept on 49th Street in Manhattan waiting in line for tickets to the live episode of 30 Rock, my favorite TV show. I met a ton of cool people (including Tina Fey), got to see both the dress rehearsal and one of the tapings of the show, and can now say I've slept on a sidewalk in New York City. The experience, from top to bottom, was a glorious 36 hours.

I really, really, really want to learn French! As for things I can teach... I know a decent amount about US politics, various psychological disorders, 30 Rock, Harry Potter, proper English grammar, and serial killers (especially the Manson Family). Oh, and spelling. I'm good at that.
