ABOUT ME

Hey, what's up? I'm Gilby! 26, BRAZILIAN [the Amazon, to be more specific ] - thn I moved to the US, Russia, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Finland in my crazy journey trying to find the secret formula to world peace and strengthen human connection. I LOVE learning languages and having mad culture exchanges, trying all kinds of food and am very easygoing. I'm on a perpetual pursuit of stories..
Meeting people in CS has been one of the most amazing things ever, wanna share your world with me? ;D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been quite active lately! Have surfed, hosted, traveled together and been to events and I kinda can't see other ways to travel rather than meeting people through Couchsurfing :D

Centres d'intérêt

Getting to know new places, taking pictures, LAUGHING OUT LOUD, making new friends, long deep philosophical talks, giving GILBY HUGS [ask me to teach you how to do it,] helping the environment, dancing, music, acting, staring at the ocean, trying new food, learning new things, writing stories, reading every genre of printed word, wondering how wonderful the weather is today, having my mind blown by the Spring and the Fall and so forth... I'm a good company and am down for pretty much anything as long as u don't call me to play football [I'm Brazilian, I know, I suffer enough pressure for this, don't judge me!] or kinda other sports using balls.... just not my thing O.o

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies: Escapism. Make me laugh, cry, scared, nervous. Surprise me.

Music: I personally don't attach to kinds or artist, I'll listen to whatever songs I like - so I like songs, not their genre or composer or artist , but I think Jazz is so hot lol

Books: I think they're the most magnificent thing there could exist. I read mostly fiction, regardless of the kind. I don't limit myself to genres, all books have ideas to be shared, something to be teach when read broadly.
I'm bananas for Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams, Mark Twain, The Hunger Games series, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, John Green as an author and as an educator and I wish one day I can write like Charles Dickens - his language work blows.my.mind.
